So I had the most amazing dream last night. Well, the dream wasn't that good, but the car I was driving in various parts of it was absolutely amazing. I was driving a car called the Phantom that was made by Jaguar. This wasn't your normal Jaguar though, it was more of a sports car body, like that of a BMW 3 series.
Let's talk about how it drove though. The engine was almost silent, even when you accelerated real fast. It had race car steering, which meant that you shift at your fingertips. It could literally stop on a dime, a dime that you dropped right in front of your toes, even at 90 mph. It could basically turn on a dime just like that too, as if it was on a track or not on the ground. Granted, you lost a lot of speed doing turns like this, but with the acceleration the car had, it didn't matter too much. But this turning was possible because of this extra "device" that was also controlled on the steering wheel, right by the shifting. It took a bit to get used to this extra thing, because it was like a tiller on a boat how it operated, but it was also like a weight. It basically was this thing that you would have slide to counterbalance the effects of the turn, so that you wouldn't flip when making a really fast turn, but it would also help accelerate the turning and stopping process. It is kind of hard to describe it really, because I was still perfecting how to use it and just what it did before I woke up, so I was still making some mistakes with it, pushing it the wrong way at the start of a turn every once in a while, but it was sweet. Oh ya, and one other thing this tiller/weight thing did, was let you control each wheel base separately, the front and the back, so that you could keep the car still...not going forward or anything, but reposition the back or the front of the car as if the opposite end (the non-moving end) was a pivot point. This made it possible to maneuver through all sorts of places. Really I just want to go back to sleep and dream about driving my dream car. My Jaguar Phantom in all black. It was great, everyone wanted my car cuz it looked sweet and was super fast.
